Sales channel
Definition
A channel is any place where a product is sold or published: your own online store, a marketplace, a physical store, a B2B catalog or a price comparison site.
Each channel asks for information its own way: its columns, categories, text limits and required fields. What is ready for one may not be ready for another.
That is why a PIM measures completeness per channel and exports in each destination's format. In Bruxel each channel defines its columns, and Bruxel tells you what each product is missing for it.
