Video transcript
In this video, your suppliers add their products and you approve them before they enter your catalog.
Your supplier joins your organization as an editor, limited to their brands.
Enter their email, choose Editor, check “Limit to their brands” and pick theirs.
They get the invitation, and here you see it pending: supplier, one brand.
You decide which attributes they fill in: those in a group you mark “Filled in by the supplier”…
…and you put the attributes that belong to them in that group.
The form builds itself from what you already set up: your attribute groups, your tree and your channels.
General data, categorization and review always go; variants, content and images can be turned off.
Each group the supplier fills in is a step, and here you write its subtitle.
And you decide how a new family's SKU is built and which content texts they send.
This is what your supplier sees: a portal with their brand, without credits, channels or your team.
They only see their brand's products, and how complete they are.
The first step carries your subtitle. The brand is set by their access, and they enter the name.
They say whether it has variants, enter its code and fill in their group's attributes.
On the right, the live review tells them what's missing before they can send it.
The category comes from your tree: they pick it level by level.
If it came in shades or sizes, they'd enter each variant here; this is a single product.
They write the texts for your store, like the name and a short description…
…and upload the main photo, which is saved to your image library.
In the review they see everything together: what they entered and what you complete.
They send it for validation, and the product lands in your queue.
In Validation you see how it will look: its brand, its category and what your store asks for.
If everything checks out, approve it.
And it goes into your catalog with its category, photo and material, ready for you to generate its description.
And if something's off, tell them on the record: every product has its own comment thread.
With suppliers there are two threads: the internal one, just for your team, and the one shared with the supplier.
That's how you onboard products with your suppliers: they fill them in, you review and approve.
