Set your brand voice

What you tell Bruxel about how it should write: language, tone, context and which words to never use.

Video transcript

In this video, you'll tell Bruxel how your brand writes.

You set your voice once, and it applies to your whole catalog.

The template decides which fields get generated; your voice decides how each one is written.

First, which languages you want your product records in.

Then the form of address, which matters in Spanish: informal, formal or neutral.

The tone says how your brand sounds.

And the context: what someone on your team would know and the AI wouldn't.

Forbidden words never show up in anything that gets generated.

Save, and the voice applies from the next record you generate.

And by default, Bruxel writes without medical claims or absolute guarantees.

To hear it, generate a product. The button shows the cost before you're charged.

The record now speaks to your customer in your tone and explains how to use it, without promising results.

In the next video, you'll generate your first descriptions in a batch.

What you can adjust

Voice is configured once and applies to the whole catalog:

  • Output languages: which ones you want descriptions in, and which one is the primary.
  • Formality: formal, informal or neutral.
  • Tone: how your brand should sound.
  • Brand name and context: what one of your copywriters would know and the AI would not.
  • Forbidden words: terms that must never appear.

The primary language

With more than one language, one is the primary: its listing is what gets translated into the others, and «Correct» only appears on it. Adding or removing languages does not change it; you change it on purpose in «Primary language», below the languages. To remove the current primary from the list, pick another one first.

Template

The template decides WHICH fields get generated: SEO name, short and long description, bullets, meta title, structured data and so on. You pick a curated template; your brand settings decide how each field is written.

The generation method — the fields and the instructions behind each one — is maintained by us and applied on the server. You control the voice and your catalog's own attributes.

Forbidden words

Useful for competitor names, terms your legal team does not approve, or vocabulary your brand does not use. They apply to everything that gets generated.

Health and benefit claims

By default, Bruxel writes WITHOUT claims of efficacy, health or guaranteed results. That is what you want in most catalogs, and especially in cosmetics, supplements and personal care.

You can turn it off, but then descriptions may include claims that in Mexico fall under COFEPRIS or PROFECO. What you publish is your responsibility.
