A catalog in two languages
Add a language, translate what you've already published instead of generating it again, and send each language to its channel.

Video transcript
In this video, your catalog goes bilingual: add the language, translate and send it to your channel.
First, add the language to your output languages.
Save, and your catalog now works in both.
On the record, the selector at the top shows your languages.
The English record is already published: you don't generate it again, you translate it. The button shows the cost.
Done: the translation says the same thing as the original, it's not a second draft.
And what translating would break, like the URL or the structured data, is copied as is.
Each language is edited separately, without touching the others.
If you change the original, the translation tells you it came from an earlier version…
…and offers to translate it again. It doesn't update on its own: it's your call.
Each language goes out through its channel: it remembers language, columns, order and separator.
You can also start from a template: the Adobe Commerce one brings the column names that CSV already uses.
“Measure” goes through your catalog and tells you how many products would come out complete in that channel.
It also shows which columns are missing most, and downloads the list of what each product still needs.
Each column can be required or optional, and the channel can export only the complete rows.
And «In the store» shows you the record just as that channel would receive it.
It isn't your store's design: it's the content that would reach it, from the category to the description.
It uses your store channel, or the first one that sends photos; “View as” switches channels.
That's your catalog in two languages: translate what's published, and each language goes out through its channel.
